WHAT IS kids church
We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we have designed a worship experience especially for them! Journey Church Kids sing, pray and hear a Bible-based, relevant message each week. After the message, children are encouraged to creatively respond to what God is putting on their hearts.
G-Force Class is where "Kids can be Kids in Christ". Children ages 7 years through 5th grade join together to learn about the Bible in a fun and exciting way! This older kids church allows for the kids to interact as a group but also provides a more personal learning experience through a small group format.
Little Tonka Tykes Class is where 4, 5, and 6 year old children meet and explore the lesson taught in Kids Church on an early childhood level. The children will learn about God through a Bible lesson, crafts, music, games, and free play. Our aim is to create a fun-filled environment where the kids will experience the love of Christ each and every Sunday.
CHECK-IN
Your child's safety is a top priority at Journey Church. If it is your family’s first visit, we will ask you to join us at the Check-In desk where we can meet your family, have you fill-in a brief form, check your child into our safety system, and lead them to their age-appropriate room. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and then guide you to the worship center.

Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Relationships
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Age-Appropriateness
Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child will understand. We are so passionate about kids learning this way that we do not allow them into the service designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.

Safety
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number,
every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background
check, and every hallway is monitored by security personnel.

Fun!
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church,
they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children
to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.
