The Church at its Best is Dangerous (11/9/25)

Reminder's from Pastor Bill's sermon this past Sunday, for reflection and for taking action:

(Sermon Text: Romans 12:3-21)

THREE MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Do an ASSESSMENT of your life (what am I good at/what are we good at)

2. Take an INVENTORY of your abilities (audit our spiritual attitudes)

3. Make an ESTIMATE of your capabilities (chart your passions & affections)

Over these months together, with God’s help, we will strive to focus on making these adjustments. (assessment, inventory, and estimate)

Here is the challenge that I want to share with “JOURNEY CHURCH” as we start down this road together today…

I am counting on your help:

1. Think of what COULD BE instead of what HAS BEEN…

2. Think of what GOD WANTS instead of what YOU WANT…

3. Think of what MIGHT HAPPEN instead of what HAS HAPPENED…

Join me in imagining the possibilities of God’s new work in our city and community through the ministry of Journey Nazarene.

If the Church at it’s best is Dangerous, what would it look like if each one of us took our place in God’s NEXT CHAPTER for JOURNEY CHURCH?

Only God knows what comes next so let’s focus on our responsibility and become dangerous for His glory.

OUR JOURNEY STARTS NOW...so let's pray for a move of God...because we are convinced that the church at it's best is dangerous!
